Representing Seapoint in the Irish Mail, All Ireland Fourball Trophy, at Macreddin Village was an honour. The support and good wishes we received from the men & ladies clubs was brilliant and much appreciated, and our thanks to all the ladies to travelled to watch our matches.
The competition was very professionally run, and we were very well looked after for the two days. Our semi-final match against Galway was quite a battle, but unfortunately we couldn't hold on to our early lead and lost the match. Putting disappointment aside, we were determined to do better in our afternoon match against Roscrea, which we won, to come 3rd over all. (Galway eventually went on to win the championship, which was a small consolation !!).
We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and would recommend it to all!!
Congrats on coming 3rd in the competition.I would be nice if you had won against Galway and topped in the competition.Never mind wins and loss come in games but the important thing is you enjoyed the match.
